Absolute encoder system

Our common goal is to guarantee the user a safe and secure lift ride. Using a different technology, absolute encoders ensure precise positioning of the cabin and enable speed control - essential factors for safe and effective operation.

Our control systems support numerous absolute encoders that are available on the market.
Central functions that the absolute encoder guarantees in combination with our lift control system:

• Communication between the frequency inverter and motor
• Speed control
• Lift door control
• Precise positioning of the cabin

In addition, our lift controllers are optimally prepared for the use of safe and absolute positioning systems.
If the functional safety requirements are met, these systems can be used for safety-relevant switching and control functions (up to SIL3) - based on the position and speed of the car.
