WinMOS®300 Version 5 is based on the new Microsoft Access database. This has been outsourced to an independent application and offers comprehensive administration functions. Thanks to powerful import filters, data can be transferred from older versions 3.x and 4.x - a one-off import that is only necessary when upgrading from an older version.
All WinMOS®300 applications, such as diagnostics and monitoring, are based on this database. As all applications access the same database, which is available in Microsoft standard format, you can easily analyse the database using standard Office tools. In addition, plug-ins enable connection to external databases.
WinMOS®300 Diagnostics enables the remote maintenance and configuration of lift systems or lift groups. Primarily used in service centres, it allows comprehensive pre-diagnosis prior to maintenance or fault intervention. This allows potential faults to be recognised, rectified or localised at an early stage. If an on-site intervention is necessary, the required spare parts can already be carried.
With WinMOS®300 Monitoring, up to 32 lifts can be displayed simultaneously in real time on one monitor. If the application is operated in a network, up to 128 lifts can even be monitored. It is also possible to network several
WinMOS®300 workstations via a network is also possible.
As a dedicated line to the lifts is required for operation, WinMOS®300 Monitoring is primarily used in closed building complexes or on ships.
The broadcast call module makes it possible to call all control units cyclically from a central location. This automatically queries various data from the control units and performs actions - the results are documented in corresponding logs.
The broadcast call module is mainly used in lift service centres.
Call acceptance is an integral part of the full versions of WinMOS®300 Diagnostics and Monitoring. It receives fault, message and maintenance callbacks that are sent from the lifts to the WinMOS®300 control centre. Incoming callbacks can be forwarded by e-mail or SMS or entered in external databases - for example on the Internet. This allows you to keep an eye on the status of your lifts online at all times.
Call acceptance is mainly used in lift service centres.
The statistics module extends WinMOS®300 monitoring with functions for the statistical evaluation and graphical display of data from individual lifts. It also allows the availability of the lifts to be determined and the car floors to be dynamically adjusted to the statistically determined utilisation profile.
The overview module extends WinMOS®300 with the option of clearly displaying the status of all connected systems on a floor plan. It is primarily used in service centres of lift companies or in technical centres of closed building complexes.
External databases can be connected via plug-ins. For example, faults recorded by another system can be transferred to the call acceptance system so that they are available in all WinMOS®300 modules. It is also possible to transfer messages from WinMOS®300 to other databases, for example for integration into SAP systems.
