The Lift Controller Software

The controller software comprises the operating system and the lift programme.

The operating system BOS™ controls the processing of all the application programmes. It controls and monitors all system components, such as for example LC-Display and co-processors including their serial and parallel interfaces and provides the lift programme with important system-resources such as main memory, device drivers, clock etc..

The lift programme BAS™ comprises process software, operator software, group control programme and service programme.

The process software precisely selects the peripheral elements connected, such as motor and speed control, well selecting system, landing push-button units, signal units etc.. Its functions can be adapted to the individual requirements at site at any time by means of the LC-Display and the four according push-buttons (END/-/+/CR).

By the operator software, parameters can be changed and the state of the system as well as fault messages can be queried. To avoid long training periods, we have seen to it that the menu is clearly structured so that the according menu items can quickly be found by scrolling. Every entry is checked for its plausibility. Menu items that are not required as per the basic setting will not be offered by the operator software.
