CANopen-Tools

Modern control systems are based on bus systems that enable communication between individual components. Fault diagnosis, firmware-updates or configuration of components require higher-level assembly tools that can be connected to the bus. For control systems made by BÖHNKE + PARTNER the standardized CAN-bus is used. We have developed »CANwizard« software for configuration and fault diagnosis.

CANwizard^®

CANwizard^® is configuration and diagnostics software within CANopen-networks. The software comprises special functions for the application profile CiA-417 for lifts. Learn more about the application profile here.

CANwizard^® offers the following features:

• automatic scanning of CANopen networks,
• representation of the network in a clear tree-structure,
• importing of EDS-files,
• automatic allocation of EDS-files to the different devices,
• terminal-mode for displays according to VT52,
• software-updates via the CAN-bus,
• PDO-mapping function,
• clear and simple access to the data of the devices (object list),
• memorizing of all parameters in a project-file,
• restoring of the parameters of a device or the entire network,
• parameter-setting possible without any CANopen-knowhow in the devices-display,
• network management functions,
• event-monitor representing the DSP417-message in clear text,
• LSS-services for node-IDs configuration,
• support the current CAN-adapters from: Ixxat, Peak, Systec and Vector
• etc.
